Keuka College’s Board of Trustees convened for its first on-campus meetings of the academic year over the weekend of Oct. 24-26, allowing College leadership to welcome the Board’s newest members.
Beginning their terms as trustees during the 2025-26 academic year are Kathy Bowles, Nyla Curry, Patricia Loveland, and Michael Meaney. Nyla, a third-year Nursing major, is a student trustee. All four members were elected in June.
College President Amy Storey said the new trustees bring a wealth of experience, leadership, and dedication to the College’s goal of providing experiential, career-focused education rooted in service and community engagement.
“It’s a pleasure to welcome Kathy, Nyla, Patti, and Mike to the Keuka College Board of Trustees,” said President Storey. “Their collective expertise – spanning nonprofit leadership, finance, higher education, and student life – brings fresh perspectives that will strengthen our strategic direction and enhance the student experience. Each of them embodies the College’s values of hands-on learning, global awareness, and community impact.”
Board Chair Dr. Twyla J. Cummings said the four new trustees further strengthen the Board’s ability to guide the College through a period of growth and opportunity.
“Each of our new members brings unique insight and a deep commitment to Keuka College’s mission,” said Dr. Cummings. “Their diverse professional backgrounds and shared passion for education and community engagement will help us continue advancing the College’s strategic priorities and ensure that we’re preparing our students to lead and serve in an ever-changing world.”
